 Pastor
Travis Jackson was
born in Seattle, Washington. He is the proud father of three
daughters Rochelle, Ronica, and Travina. He attended Houston Community College,
U of H in Houston Texas and Creighton College in Memphis, TN where he pastored
his first church, the Bible Days Revival Church. He then founded Grace
Tabernacle Church where through a prayer revival they began a ministry where
they fed the hungry every week and passed out cloths to the needy. Presently he
resides in Baytown, TX where his evangelistic ministry branches out through the
media of television which began with the Word Network, Pax, and TV One.
His television evangelistic ministry now can be seen on local stations across
the country.
Pastor Jackson is currently one of the pastors on staff at Abundant
Life Church located at 322 East Texas in Baytown, Texas where Prophet Kerney
Thomas is the chief Apostle. Prayer is the key for the Abundant Life
Church that reaches thousands of people weekly through Apostle Kerney Thomas
and the BET network. Lives are being touched, transformed, and taught on a
daily basis.
As pastor of Abundant Life Pastor Jackson has the charge to stand
firm and be faithful to the calling of the Pastor of Abundant Life Church, to
get into the community by "Preaching the Word of God to the poor to the
down-trodden to not be ashamed, to preach the Word of God in the bars and drug
dens, and to preach the Word of God on the street that Jesus' ministry is very
much outside the walls of the church."
