Ministry Leader - Darla Williams

The purpose of the UMW shall be a community of women whose purpose it is to know God; to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the Church.  The UMW sponsors a lunch for the “Sick & Shut In” every December.  They hold their annual “Prayer Breakfast” in the fall of the year. 

The UMW meet on the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM.

Women's Ministry

Ministry Leader - Lorraine Reagan

The Women’s Ministry is made up of the women within E. T. Dixon UMC.  We are involved in Bible study, prayer groups, helping members who are in need, and outreach ministries within the church and global community.  The Women’s Ministry sponsors the “Silver Hair Luncheon” and the “Women’s Retreat” annually.
