Evangelism is a ministry which involves sharing our faith in Jesus Christ by our words and our deeds.  We commit ourselves to be involved in carrying out these duties by sharing our faith and serving others, depending wholly upon the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit.  We recognize that our God, as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is an evangelizing God.  God calls and commissions us to evangelize.  As the “Church on the Hill” reaches out to make more disciples for Christ by spreading the Good News, these major projects have been accomplished:  a prayer and visitation ministry organized to meet the needs of our congregation, a prayer request box placed for members and visitors to request special needs and prayers, a Spiritual Gifts Workshop developed and implemented for the leaders of our congregation, an “Invitation to Join Pamphlet” developed, along with a fellowship for new members to meet the pastor and coordinators of ministries of the church, and welcome/information folders developed for visitors.  Along with the Membership and Nurture Ministry, Evangelism Ministry is committed to be soul winners as a pattern of good works and faith sharing.
